The Asymmetric Laplace Distribution

This package can be loaded by Renjin but 1 out 5 tests failed.

It provides the density, distribution function, quantile function, random number generator, likelihood function, moments and Maximum Likelihood estimators for a given sample, all this for the three parameter Asymmetric Laplace Distribution defined in Koenker and Machado (1999). This is a special case of the skewed family of distributions available in Galarza (2016) useful for quantile regression.

This package can be included as a dependency from a Java or Scala project by including the following your project's pom.xml file. Read more about embedding Renjin in JVM-based projects.
